Thanksgiving Baskets
Since 1992 Stirred Up Ministries has been supplying Thanksgiving baskets to families in need. Our list of families in need is generated with the help of school principals, counselors and teachers to ensure that we are helping the families with the greatest needs. Imagine Thanksgiving dinner with your family, while another is not being able to partake in a time of family love and joy. Will you give a family the opportunity to have a day filled with thanks and no worries?.
Our Mission through Giving
We use this as one way to minister to families in need by displaying the love of Christ through meeting physical needs. Imagine the family knowing that someone was thinking of them for at least one night and we pray most importantly that they will realize God is constantly thinking of them.
How you can Help
You can help by filling a laundry basket with all the trimmings for a special family dinner. See the shopping list below for a standard set of items. Other items such as cleaning products or toiletries are also welcome. Once you have a family’s name, you will fill your Thanksgiving basket and deliver it directly to the family. If you are unable to get in touch with your family or need to deliver items on a day they are unavailable, you can bring your basket to the Stirred Up Ministries house.
